hey i am looking at 3 computers NIB: SONY VAIO VGN-NS110 E/S ($499) or HP Pavilion dv2911us ($675). I like the macs because of very few viruses and because it has idvd, garageband, imovie, and photobooth
1-Is there any software similar to idvd, garageband, imovie, and photobooth for windows vista? (Link please)
2-Also how well do the webcams work on each computer and how many effects and stuff are available to use with the webcam? (i videochat alot on aim so i NEED it to work)
3- What software is preinstalled onto the 2 computers and is it good software? (I heard that the vaio has a movie editor, does it work good and does it have alot of cool and fun effects for a teen?)
4-What other cool features are on the vaio and on the pavilion?
5-Which is better overall for the price?

It sounds like you're already leaning toward the mac with the included software you listed and the Windows Notebooks don't really come with a neat package like that.
They more than likely come pre-installed with what well call shovelware. (useless OEM software)
Go for the Mac unless there's a Windows-only piece of software that you really need (but it doesn't sound like it). You can always use "Boot Camp" and install Windows later if you need it anyway.
It has Airport Extreme Wi-fi, Bluetooth and even Gigabit ethernet. Sadly Apple removed firewire from their lower end Notebooks.
Go buy yourself a nice new Intel Mac.
