Someone has muffed the charging system. This vehicle has a load device in the regulating portion of the charging system. If it has been by-passed, or the wrong wiring from the MAXI fuse, it cannot charge correctly especially with a heavy electrical load (e.g. headlamps, A/C, rear window defogger etc.).
Time to either take the car to a qualified repair shop, or if you are doing your own repair, find a correct wiring diagram and make certain all circuits are as they are diagrammed.
